Lead Partnerships Manager, Data & Risk

Dave vs. Goliath. We’re Dave. Dave is a financial app on a mission to build products that level the financial playing field. It is redefining the financial landscape by leveraging technology to create an affordable, transparent, and user-centric access to liquidity for millions of Americans. As a leading innovator in the U.S. financial services sector, Dave’s digital financial platform offers products designed to meet the credit needs of those underserved by traditional financial institutions. Dave’s offerings include its flagship ExtraCash product, providing members up to $500 within minutes. The company is on track to launch several new product offerings in 2026, including a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) option. Dave is focused on serving Americans who are financially vulnerable or living paycheck to paycheck. Dave is leading the charge in creating a new era of credit products that prioritizes speed, affordability, and accessibility, making it the go-to financial partner for those who need it most. What you'll do As the Strategic Partnerships Lead for Data & Risk, you will own and scale a portfolio of high-impact partnerships that support Dave’s risk, data, and financial infrastructure roadmap. You will work closely with Product, Risk, Data Science, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and executive leadership to identify partnership opportunities, lead evaluations, negotiate commercial terms, and manage partners through implementation and ongoing performance. You will be expected to deeply understand Dave’s products, member needs, unit economics, risk models, and regulatory environment, then translate that understanding into a clear partnerships strategy. The best person for this role is commercially sharp, analytically rigorous, operationally strong, and comfortable quarterbacking complex initiatives across many stakeholders. Own Dave's portfolio of data and risk partners across fraud, identity, open banking, bank connectivity, and credit bureaus Turn Dave's product, risk, and business objectives into a clear partner roadmap, sequencing renewals, evaluations, and new capabilities so the portfolio supports responsible growth and better member outcomes. Evaluate new partners against commercial fit, data quality, risk impact, compliance, cost, and resiliency, and own the call on what to bring in. Build the scorecards that hold partners accountable: service levels, cost, approval and conversion impact, fraud and risk outcomes, data reliability, and contractual obligations. Find the openings to sharpen Dave's underwriting, fraud controls, member eligibility, and repayment performance through better partner capabilities. Run each partnership end to end: sourcing, diligence, business case, financial modeling, negotiation, contracting, implementation, and post-launch performance. Lead partner governance, renewal strategy, issue escalation, and risk mitigation across our most critical third-party relationships. Build real relationships with senior leaders at the data providers, infrastructure companies, risk platforms, and banks we depend on. Who you are You are a strategic operator who can move between big-picture thinking and detailed execution. You understand how partnerships can create product advantage, improve risk performance, and drive business outcomes. You are comfortable with ambiguity, but you do not operate loosely. You bring structure, judgment, and urgency. You are equally effective in a vendor negotiation, a product requirements discussion, a risk review, and an executive update. You can simplify complex tradeoffs, build a clear business case, and push work forward across teams. You’ll be a great fit if You have 8+ years in fintech partnerships or product strategy (digital banking/lending) You have strong product sense, and you can point to partner or vendor choices that moved real product outcomes: approval rates, conversion, member experience, or roadmap speed. You have sharp commercial and analytical instincts, and you are at home in business cases, financial models, and the unit economics behind a partnership. You have negotiated and managed complex partner relationships from diligence through launch and into ongoing performance. You lead well across Product, Engineering, Risk, Data Science, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations. You write and speak clearly enough to move senior stakeholders and make hard tradeoffs simple. You have good judgment around member experience, regulatory sensitivity, and operational risk. You bring a bias toward action and high ownership, and you can run several complex initiatives at once. Don’t let imposter syndrome get in the way of an incredible opportunity. We’re looking for people who can help us achieve our mission and vision, not just check off the boxes. If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply. You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles. Why you’ll love working here: At Dave, our people are just as important as our product. You will identify high-potential partners, structure creative commercial agreements, and bring partnerships to market that reach millions of potential members. Build and manage a pipeline of partner opportunities through proactive outreach and ongoing market evaluation, spanning platforms, ecosystems, and emerging distribution models. Partnerships require coordination across legal, product, analytics, and marketing, and you build trust with those partners along the way. When new information changes the path forward, you adjust thoughtfully while keeping momentum. Feedback and collaboration sharpen the work. What to Expect You’ll have meaningful ownership in shaping how partnerships contribute to Dave’s growth. Some opportunities will be clear. Others will require experimentation and creative thinking. Decisions here are grounded in data, member impact, and long-term business outcomes. Sr. Member Experience Manager

Dave vs. Goliath. The Opportunity Dave is growing fast and the member base is growing with it. As more people choose Dave over traditional banking, the feedback loop that helps us understand their experience needs to be sharper, more structured, and more connected to the decisions that drive the business. That's what this role builds. As Sr. Member Experience Manager, you'll own the Voice of Customer program and shape how Dave listens to, understands, and acts on member signals across every touchpoint. This isn't a "compile the feedback" role. You'll be the person translating what millions of members are experiencing into the structured, data backed case that gets in front of Product and Leadership and actually changes things. The work sits at a real intersection. You'll tie member sentiment to business outcomes like retention, engagement, and revenue, and make the argument that doing right by the member and growing the business are the same goal. At Dave they are. This role is how we make sure that case gets made consistently, on a regular cadence, with the numbers to back it up. If you want a high-visibility IC role where your work shapes product decisions and your voice carries weight across the org, this is it. What You'll Do Voice of Customer Program You are the voice of the customer within Dave. You own how member signals get turned into something the Dave team can act on. That means pulling input from every customer contact support data, app reviews, social conversations, community feedback, and surveys, including App Store and Google Play reviews and public social conversations. You decide what gets tracked, how it's measured, and when something is significant enough to escalate, including routing anything with reputational or policy circumvention risk to Complaints/Resolve so they can move fast. You'll build a structured, recurring rhythm for surfacing what matters: real-time visibility into issues and trend shifts as they happen, a monthly deep dive with Research into one specific friction area affecting members, and a periodic review of the biggest unresolved issues that you bring to Product and use to keep Leadership current. Each cycle produces a clear problem statement, not just a data dump, and you keep a running backlog so patterns don't disappear just because they miss a cycle. The readouts you deliver aren't a complaints list. They're a business case. A spike in a friction category is a churn signal. A recurring drop-off in a core flow means members are transacting less or leaving. You'll tie what you're hearing to the metrics that matter, retention, engagement, revenue, and member growth, and you'll partner with Member Insights and Data Analytics so the signal you're surfacing feeds the classifiers and dashboards the rest of MS&O relies on, not just your own readouts. Doing right by the member and making the business case are the same argument here. Members who trust the product stay longer, transact more, and tell others. Product Feedback and Member Advocacy When member signals point to a product gap, you build the case and bring it to Product in a way PMs can prioritize: a clear problem statement written from the member's perspective, backed by data, with a recommendation behind it. You're also the member's advocate in the room. That means showing up prepared, defending the friction point with specifics, adjusting when new information comes in, and helping the group reach a better decision because the member's perspective was actually represented. You're not there to report back. You're there to move the outcome. Dogfooding is part of how you stay credible in those conversations. You'll use Dave's products regularly and test new launches before they go out, so you know firsthand what the experience feels like before members do. Cross-Functional Work You'll represent the member's perspective across Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Legal and Compliance, running the recurring syncs with product teams that keep pain points and open issues moving, and helping facilitate the forums where broader member experience initiatives get assigned an owner instead of stalling between meetings. What You'll Need Five or more years in member experience, Voice of Customer, customer insights, or CX with real program ownership A proactive and curious mindset with a natural drive to investigate patterns, identify opportunities, and improve the member experience. Experience gathering signals from multiple touchpoints, including app store reviews and public social conversation, and turning them into structured, actionable recommendations Strong judgment in separating isolated feedback from meaningful trends and determining when deeper analysis, escalation, or action is needed. Working fluency with Mode, Looker, or similar tools to independently build and defend a data-backed case Comfort leveraging AI tools such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Gemini to guide research, synthesize feedback, identify patterns, and strengthen analysis. Comfort in cross-functional product conversations where you've made the member's case in a PM setting Experience advocating for agent-level tools, workflows, and product improvements that reduce friction, improve efficiency, and strengthen the member experience. A track record of building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, Research, and Data. Strong written communication: clear problem statements, crisp readouts, recommendations that get used Confidence speaking up, challenging assumptions respectfully, and calling out the obvious when needed to create clarity or resolve misalignment. Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to turn complex findings into clear problem statements, concise readouts, and actionable recommendations. The ability to move work forward without direct authority while navigating competing priorities and maintaining cross-functional alignment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to document decisions, maintain action items, track owners and deadlines, and ensure follow-through. Bonus Points Experience running a formal VoC or community engagement program Background in fintech or consumer financial services Familiarity with QA or contact center operations Experience in an agile product environment Comfort with tools like Mode, Looker, Zendesk, or Rippit (MaestroQA) Don’t let imposter syndrome get in the way of an incredible opportunity. Dave is focused on serving Americans who are financially vulnerable or living paycheck to paycheck. Dave is leading the charge in creating a new era of credit products that prioritizes speed, affordability, and accessibility, making it the go-to financial partner for those who need it most. CashAI, Dave's proprietary underwriting engine, powers every credit decision we make and is the biggest reason we can say yes to millions of members that competitors and incumbent lenders can't. As our Staff Product Manager, Credit Underwriting, you'll own the strategy, roadmap, and models that deepen that advantage and extend it across ExtraCash, Flex card, and the credit products we launch next, directly driving member growth and revenue. You'll report to our Director of Product Management and set the underwriting direction that other product managers, Data Science, Risk, and Engineering build against. What you’ll build and own: Own the roadmap: Continually drive an ambitious underwriting strategy and multi-quarter roadmap across Dave’s portfolio of credit products to expand credit access to more members. Build credit solutions that scale: Partner with Data Science, Engineering, and Product vertical owners to design, test, and scale a new multi-product underwriting platform. Expand data advantage: Champion the expansion of new, differentiated credit signals beyond core bank data to continually strengthen CashAI performance. Own the numbers: Own the KPIs that matter most to the underwriting function – take rate, loss rate, disbursement volume, and retention – and manage trade-offs to the business. Drive speed to learning: Lead experimentation on underwriting and model changes, from hypothesis through rollout, with rigor before scaling company-wide. Be a force multiplier: Mentor others on credit domain expertise and help raise the bar for how Dave evaluates and scales new underwriting approaches. Shape what’s next: Partner with senior leadership to identify new underwriting-driven business opportunities – new products, partnerships, or data sources – that unlock growth. The impact: Your decisions determine whether a member gets access to money they need and whether Dave gets that decision right. You'll shape how Dave scales credit access to millions of members while managing business risk – work that sits at the center of both our mission and our bottom line. What we’re looking for: 8+ years of product or credit risk management experience, including 5+ years focused on credit, underwriting, or risk in a consumer lending, fintech, or banking environment. Deep, hands-on experience with underwriting models and decisioning strategy, including cash-flow-based or alternative-data underwriting. Proven ability to set a multi-quarter or multi-year underwriting strategy that other product managers and teams execute against. Strong quantitative and statistical fluency – comfortable partnering with Data Science on model design, validation, and monitoring. A track record of navigating regulatory and compliance requirements for consumer credit products. Executive-level communication skills, with experience presenting underwriting strategy and risk trade-offs to senior leadership. Strong sense of urgency – you act as a business owner to move quickly to test, validate, and ship improvements without cutting corners on rigor. Proven ability to use AI tools to accelerate underwriting analysis, model iteration, and decision-making. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. Nice-to-have: Experience underwriting BNPL, installment, or card products. Background in a credit risk, data science, or actuarial role prior to moving into product management. Experience mentoring or informally leading other product managers. Familiarity with Dave's core products (ExtraCash, Flex card, Dave Banking) or similar cash-advance and subscription-based lending models. Don’t let imposter syndrome get in the way of an incredible opportunity. We’re looking for people who can help us achieve our mission and vision, not just check off the boxes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives building strategies from scratch in high ambiguity environments. What You Build & Own: Build Paid Media/Channel Strategy — own the end-to-end UA approach for each new product launch. Determine which channels to test first, define audience targeting and segmentation, set realistic performance goals, and build a repeatable playbook that scales across multiple products. You'll go from zero to proven strategy in weeks, not months. Martech Setup — Work with Martech, Engineering, Product, and Analytics to establish the foundations for scaled paid acquisition. Define event tracking and deeplink requirements, establish campaign structure and audience taxonomy, set baseline metrics and dashboards, and own the pre-launch checklist. You'll ensure technical readiness so acquisition can scale from day one. The Impact: Your work directly impacts Dave's ability to scale new revenue streams and reach millions more financially vulnerable Americans who need accessible financial products. By building efficient, sustainable customer acquisition engines for our 2026 and onward product launches, you'll drive company growth and expansion into new markets while maintaining profitability. What We’re Looking For: 8-10+ years of paid media, user acquisition, performance marketing, or growth marketing experience, with demonstrated success building strategies from scratch for new products and market entries. Track record of successful new product launches using paid acquisition — you should have concrete examples of products you've launched and the results you achieved. Deep knowledge of paid media channels (Facebook, TikTok, Google, Apple Search as examples) including how they work, bidding mechanics, and optimization best practices. Strong analytical skills — You understand CAC, LTV, ROI, and unit economics deeply. You're comfortable with data, can spot trends, and make optimization decisions based on performance data. Campaign management and optimization experience — You've managed budgets, monitored performance, and scaled winning campaigns while cutting underperformers. Comfort with ambiguity and strategic thinking — You thrive when you need to build strategies that don't yet exist. You're not looking for a playbook; you're writing it. Excellent communication skills — You can articulate strategy clearly to leadership, collaborate across teams, and translate data into actionable insights Hands on mindset — You're willing to wear multiple hats and jump into tactical work when needed. You're not looking for a role where you only manage; you execute too. Nice-to-have: Fintech or financial services industry experience Experience with Buy Now Pay Later products or emerging new product ideas. Familiar with organic strategies (App Store Optimization, etc) What to Expect: This is a fast paced role where you'll move quickly from strategy to execution, managing multiple product launches simultaneously. You'll have significant autonomy to shape UA strategy and make channel decisions, while being supported by a data-driven culture where every decision is backed by metrics and testing. Be prepared for evolving priorities as product roadmaps shift and new opportunities emerge. You'll be expected to lead with conviction while staying adaptable. Why Join Dave: Mission driven impact — You'll build customer acquisition strategies for financial products that serve millions of underserved Americans. Your work directly impacts financial health and accessibility for people who need it most. Significant scope and growth — Dave is fast-growing and expanding into multiple new product categories in 2026. You'll have the opportunity to shape UA strategy across multiple launches and scale from day one. Strategic autonomy — This is a founding UA role for new products. Staff AI Acceleration Engineer

Dave vs. Goliath. The Opportunity We’re looking for a Staff AI Acceleration Engineer to define the technical foundation for how AI agents are built, connected to data, and safely deployed across Dave. This is a highly influential individual contributor role focused on architecture, technical strategy, and platform design. You’ll establish the patterns, standards, and infrastructure that enable teams across the company to build trusted AI agents on governed data. Your work will shape Dave’s AI Agent Factory—the platform that makes AI development repeatable, secure, and scalable. You’ll partner closely with Data Engineering, which owns the trusted data platform, while you design the AI infrastructure that connects large language models to that data through robust governance, semantic consistency, and reusable developer tooling. Reports to: Director, Data Platform & AI Acceleration What You’ll Build Define the architecture and technical strategy for Dave’s AI Agent Factory, including reusable frameworks, evaluation patterns, deployment standards, and observability. Design the MCP server architecture and AI-ready data access layer that enables LLMs to securely reason over governed enterprise data. Architect integrations between AI agents and Dave’s semantic layer so business definitions remain consistent across analytics, reporting, and AI experiences. Establish governance-by-design patterns for authentication, authorization, auditability, PII protection, and responsible AI deployment. Design evaluation frameworks that measure agent quality, reliability, and operational performance before production deployment. Partner across Engineering, Data, Security, and Product to establish technical standards that enable AI adoption across the organization. The Impact Your work will become the foundation every engineering team builds on as Dave scales AI across the business. By creating trusted infrastructure instead of one-off solutions, you’ll help accelerate development while ensuring AI systems remain reliable, secure, and aligned with our data platform. What We’re Looking For Required Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related technical field. 8+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, data engineering, ML infrastructure, or AI engineering. Experience architecting and delivering production-grade AI platforms, LLM-powered applications, or autonomous agent systems. Deep experience designing systems that securely connect LLMs to structured enterprise data through APIs, semantic layers, retrieval systems, or governance frameworks. Experience designing MCP servers, function-calling frameworks, tool-use architectures, or similar AI connectivity patterns. Strong software engineering fundamentals with expertise building scalable, reliable distributed systems. Experience with modern data platforms and infrastructure including Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Kafka, Python, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies. Experience establishing engineering standards for testing, monitoring, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence. Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams without direct authority. Nice to Have Experience designing AI evaluation frameworks and automated quality measurement. Experience with semantic layer technologies such as dbt Metrics, LookML, or similar platforms. Experience building internal developer platforms adopted across engineering organizations. Experience within fintech, banking, healthcare, or other regulated industries. Experience with data lineage, governance, audit, or compliance automation systems. What Makes Someone Successful Here You enjoy solving platform problems that unlock leverage for the entire engineering organization. You think beyond individual features and design systems that remain scalable, understandable, and adaptable over time. You balance speed with long-term maintainability and make thoughtful architectural decisions that improve both developer experience and business outcomes. You’re comfortable working in areas that are still evolving, helping shape technical direction through collaboration, experimentation, and sound engineering judgment. You build strong partnerships across teams, welcome feedback, and understand that durable platforms are created through shared ownership rather than individual heroics. What to Expect This role offers significant technical ownership and the opportunity to influence how AI is built across Dave. Priorities will evolve as AI capabilities mature, and you’ll help define the architecture that supports those changes. We value thoughtful decision-making, collaborative problem solving, and building systems that create lasting impact. Why Join Dave Build the AI platform that powers the next generation of products and internal capabilities. Shape company-wide technical strategy for AI infrastructure and intelligent systems. Partner with experienced engineers across Data, Platform, Product, and Security. Help deliver AI solutions that improve how Dave serves millions of members.
